About me!
My name is Sandy Wilkinson, welcome to my little artistic corner of the world! Throughout my life, I have been often told by friends and family that I possess a very “artistic and crafty” spirit. The amusing irony, however, is that I cannot draw, paint, or sculpt to save my life! What I truly excel at is picking up a camera and capturing the unique beauty I see through my lens. I find that beauty sometimes in the oddest of places, yet it remains beautiful all the same! I would love to have the wonderful opportunity to use that same lens to discover beauty and tell a story alongside you, whether it's with your loved ones, your beloved pets, or even just a special place that holds meaning for you and that you would like to immortalize in a magical photograph!
This is Forest Wilkinson — he's been kind enough to let my husband Marty and me share his home in Windfall, Indiana. Forest isn’t just a pet; he's family. He's also the reason I fell in love with photographing pets.
I wanted to capture Forest just as he is — his personality, his heart — and have those memories to hold onto forever. That love for him sparked something bigger: a passion for preserving the spirit and stories of the animals (and people!) we love most.
Photography, for me, is all about real moments, real connections, and keeping those memories close
Amanda Garling
You’ll often see Amanda Garling with us on shoots! Amanda is my daughter and the best assistant I could ask for. She brings a calm, confident presence to every session and helps keep things running smoothly both on the photography bus and during on-location shoots.
Amanda previously trained dogs, and that experience is invaluable when working with pets of all personalities. She has a natural way of helping animals feel comfortable and at ease, which makes sessions more relaxed, fun, and stress-free for pets and their people alike.
Kevin
Meet Kevin — our most enthusiastic model, morale booster, and self-appointed center of attention. Kevin is a shelter dog who was returned twice before finally finding his forever home with Amanda, and now he lives life like he’s making up for lost time.
When I first started photography and needed a model, Kevin happily volunteered… and never stopped. If there’s a camera nearby, Kevin assumes it’s for him. You’ll spot him in many of our photos, proudly demonstrating poses, stealing the spotlight, and reminding everyone that shelter dogs are full of personality, heart, and joy.
Kevin is proof that sometimes the most overlooked pets turn out to be the biggest stars.
Marty Wilkinson
Meet Marty — my husband, our bus driver, resident mechanic, scene builder, and the mastermind behind many of the props you see on the photography bus. If something needs built, fixed, adjusted, or figured out, Marty is the guy making it happen (usually with a tool in one hand and a solution already forming).
Marty keeps the photography bus running smoothly and safely, turning creative ideas into real, usable sets and backdrops. From custom-built scenes to last-minute fixes on location, his behind-the-scenes work makes the magic possible.
He’s also Forest’s dad and a steady, calming presence during shoots — for pets and people alike. Marty may not always be in front of the camera, but his work is in almost every frame.
